film love

I have always loved film.  Maybe it's because of the hours I spent in the darkroom in high school and college.  Maybe it's because the tonal range.  Maybe it's because I'm sentimental...


Lately in my free time, I have been shooting with some medium format cameras:  a Bronica ETRS, a Yashica-A and a Hasselblad 500c/m.  I am developing the film in my kitchen and scanning to print the negatives.  


I am having such a grand time...


I love film.  I love it's tone.  I love it's depth.  I love it's delicacy.  I love it's nostalgia.  I love it's history.  I love it's romanticism.
