Colorado...

Last weekend I took a trip with some girlfriends to Colorado.  We spent nearly the entire weekend up on the mountains in a little cabin with only a wood stove to cook and a fire place for heat.  No cell service, no clock ... just complete and total peacefulness.  It was amazing.  One of my favorite moments... when we hiked up a mountain and took a nap on the top!  Best nap ever!

I have never felt so completely relaxed, rejuvenated and peaceful after a vacation.  I am ready to go back!  :)

Conrey Family

I did a session last week for a family who are also good friends of ours... The Conreys!  This family is very kind and very funny!  I love them very much and happy to have them as friends...

Joanne + Blake

Joanne and Blake met me at Salisbury House for their E-Session.  It was a beautiful day!  We then ventured around a few other places in Des Moines... it was a lot of fun.  These two are kind and spontaneous... I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding in the fall!
