Recently, I have been playing with film. I love, love, love film. I love the darkroom. I love the smell of the chemicals and the dim, red light. I have not been able to get in the darkroom but I have been playing with my Bronica ETRS and having it developed by a local company.
Film makes me slow down and think.
Film makes me compose the shot with a more careful eye.
Film makes me contemplate what I am trying to say in an image.
I *heart* film.
I ♥ film too... if I thought I could get Brian to do more construction work, I'd get my darkroom done and you could come over and spend hours and hours in my basement. :D

ReplyDeleteWhy yes it is, Gary! One of the first things we did to the house when we bought it was put up a tire swing! No kid's childhood is complete with out one! :)
