BABB Fall Show - Tim Burton*ish Show!

I belong to a really fun blog called BABB, which consists of a whole bunch of really fun, wacky artists from all over the world!  For the month of October, we decided to have a Tim Burton*ish Show.  

As you know... typically I am a portrait and wedding photographer, but I have this lovely image of my daughter.  I picked it because it's kinda spooky looking with her running in the woods in a white dress.... like she's being chased by some spooky creature.  With it's creepy yet whimsical feel - I thought it would be a perfect fit for the BABB Tim Burton-ish Show!

Brooke's Senior Session!

Brooke picked the most beautiful location here in Iowa.  The location had a beautiful lake, tall grasses and wildflowers.  BUT... the part I loved most was this magical sculpture made form the living bushes and shrubs in the park.  The lighting inside was amazing!

K Family!

The lovely Ketterling family met me out at Jester Park a week or so ago on a somewhat dreary day.  It was a bit darker than one would have liked, however it wasn't raining - so we weren't complaining!

J + L = Married!

Jill and Louis were married in a little town in Iowa called Algona.  Algona is an adorable and fun little town.  I hear the shopping is great in the "downtown" area with lots of unique shops.  I was sorry that I didn't have a chance to go and peruse the old buildings.  Maybe another visit - because I think I might go back.  :)
