It was a great session and I'm really looking forward to Kirsten and Mark's wedding in November!

I chose the medium of photography as a tool to capture the essence of the person or place. I create images to depict the subject as they are remembered in the mind. Not posed or unnatural, but as a window into the intimate world of the subject.” Jill Brown is a member of Professional Photographers of America.

K+M = Engaged!
Kirsten and Mark met me at Greenwood Park behind the Art Center in Des Moines for their engagement session. They brought their sweet little black lab - who was a hoot! She was running and fetching and jumping in the water and just having herself a grand time.
It was a great session and I'm really looking forward to Kirsten and Mark's wedding in November!

Linsey + Jon = Engaged!
Date: February 7, 2010
Locations: Des Moines Botanical Center and WaterWorks Park
Linsey and Jon are an adorable couple... as you can clearly see from the images below. :)
We had a fun-filled afternoon taking engagement photos at the Des Moines Botanical Center while a Jazz/Blues concert was going on. Then we ventured to Water Works Park to take some outdoor, snow-fill photos!
There is just something about snow that makes an image a little more dreamy...
I had such a great time with the two of you! Thanks Linsey and Jon! I am really looking forward to your wedding!!!

Laura + Jared = Engaged! | Des Moines Photographer
Date: September 19, 2009
Locations: Riemann Gardens and ISU Campus - Ames, IA
Laura and Jared are such a sweet couple and were so willing to do anything I asked. Stand here, look there, lay on the ground, sit in an uncomfortable position so I can take this shot ... hold it ... hold it ... done! Phew! Ha! I am so excited about their wedding next June. If the whole wedding party is as easy going as this couple... watch out! There is going to be some fun had!
Thanks Laura and Jared for spending a couple of hours with me for your E-session! I had a great time!
