I have known the Allen family since 2005.  They were one of the first people I became friends with when I moved to Iowa from St. Louis, MO.  Gina and Kevin are a hoot.  Always giving each other trouble, laughing and having fun.  Their kids are great too!

Halloween Shootout

The guys at IKONIX Studio organized a great shootout with fellow photographers in the Des Moines area.  It was such a great time!  I got to finally put some faces to names and meet a lot of new photogs in the Des Moines area.

Bleich Family Session | Des Moines Family Photographer

Lacey and Corey are the sister-in-law and brother of a good friend of mine, Stacy.  I was given the pleasure of photographing their adorable little kids this past Monday at Jester Park.  Originally we were scheduled for the previous Thursday, however it was far too cold and yucky outside to make the trek.  Instead we rescheduled for this past Monday, which was such a good thing... it was sunny with wispy white clouds and warm (for a fall day).  Perfect, perfect day.

Arterburn Family Session | Des Moines Family Photographer

This session was filled with a dog so cute you'd want to pinch her cheeks, a fun-loving family and a crazy bison.  We met at the Lodge at Jester Park on Sunday.  It was a dreary day, but that didn't stop a great session.  Even with a little hiccup along the way, we still managed to have such a great time!

Rachel + Anthony | Ames Engagement Photographer

Location:  ISU Central Campus and Reimann Gardens

Rachel, Anthony and I met at Memorial Union on the ISU campus last Sunday.  The day was over-cast and chilly.  Rachel and Anthony were not a hard couple to photograph at all... They were smiling and excited from the moment we began.  This kind of attitude always makes for a great session.  They were willing do to anything and when at it full force!
